The original name of this blog was "decafbad recaffinated" — but it really should have been "decafbad recaffeinated" as per astute reader Ryan Steele.
I decided to correct the spelling of this word — which I had embedded in the directory name of the project, of the published site, two blog entries in separate places, and in many places throughout the Tinderbox document.
So, to do this required: an svn mv
; a directory rename; two edits to blog entries; a mod_rewrite rule to be thorough; and a single search and replace on the Tinderbox XML document.
It was semi-dangerous surgery on the Tinderbox doc, but nonetheless possible. And it corrected every single embedded path and appearance in text throughout the project. Yay, hooray.
Oh, and for what it's worth: Although it looks a little strange and needlessly verbose with small oscillating changes, Tinderbox XML in Subversion is actually somewhat interesting — you can see the diffs in content changed and added, unlike in binary formats like Word docs.
