decafbad.com/skein is where I plan to throw random bits of writing, so as to have somewhere to throw them. Freewriting, random bitching, works of short and long fiction, vignettes, character sketches, etc. I’ll be trying to keep some order by way of tags / categories applied to entries - so if I happen to manage some coherent work on a serialized story or something, it can hopefully be threaded together by a common category.
This looks like a blog, but really it’s not. It’s better to think of this as a slush pile, coincidentally presented in reverse-chronological order like a blog. You probably don’t want to subscribe to this site’s feed - by way of forewarning, there’ll be a lot of crap. In fact, even the stuff I don’t intend as crap will probably be crap.
And who am I? I’m Leslie Michael Orchard, sometimes l.m.orchard, and most often just Les. I’m mainly known for being a blogger and creative technologist with many serial enthusiasms; a professional in the web industry; and an author of techie books - two so far!
