The only thing besides my leg that’s troublesome is that I’m an introvert – being around people is a drain, not an energizing agent. That’s not to say I don’t enjoy meeting people and being in interesting conversations, it’s just that it costs me energy that makes me tend toward being a hermit. So, eh, something to work against. Sorry to hear that. I’ve had a partial rupture before. Although it healed without needing a surgery, it’s never the same. I had to quit basketball and pickup cycling. I no longer run across the street when I can walk across it. As you probably know, one of the reasons it’s a tough area for surgery is because there isn’t whole lot of blodd circulating down there to speed the recovery process. If you do go ahead with the surgey, be as sure as you can about its condition before trying to get back to normal activities. That’s a sure way to re-rupturing the tendon. It happened to me.

Les, hope you’re feeling better soon. I wish I had some time on my hands so I could read your book. I picked up a copy a couple weeks ago. I’ve already implemented one of your tips to help me auto post my del.icio.us bookmarks to my wordpress blog. Haven’t had much time to mess with it beyond that.
