Has anyone noticed that the subsequent products at ajaxLaunch have been even less about Ajax than ajaxWrite was? I mean, ajaxOS? Sounds like .mac with a XUL launcher. The shame is that that’s got potential to be cool, but not by co-opting the Ajax buzz.

The SciFi Channel webmasters have launched Scifipedia, based on MediaWiki. Unfortunately, in my opinion, they’ve destroyed much of the usability offered by the out-of-box template. Just try finding the “Recent Changes” page.

So, to anyone who’s wondering about my recent flood of geotagged bookmarks on del.icio.us, it’s honeymoon research. Sorry if it’s getting annoying. I’ve also been getting quite a lot of sudden mileage out of Yelp.

So, it looks like a few people have noticed my S3AjaxWiki experiment. From my referrers, I caught a mention on Shelley Powers’ Burningbird, Ajaxian, and Memeorandum. I’ve since caught a few more pointers here and there.
